How counting works
Tags begin with # and can contain letters, numbers and underscores, including international letters. Spaces, punctuation and emoji end a tag. Repeated tags ignore letter case and equivalent accents; the first spelling is kept.
Characters count Unicode code points. Word counts and platform rules can differ. Removing duplicates keeps your caption; sorting moves only the hashtags. Your text stays on your device.
